The votive stele from Smyrna is dedicated to Kakasbos, an Anatolian rider-god who appears wielding a club. In antiquity, Kakasbos was associated with the Greek god Herakles (better known as Hercules). 2nd or 3rd century CE, sandstone. Smyrna, Asia Minor.
