Colonnades of the Stabian Baths at [Pompeii](https://www.worldhistory.org/pompeii/), the [Roman](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Roman/) town buried in volcanic ash following the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 CE. The building was first constructed in the 4th century BCE and modified in the 2nd century BCE.
