## Image Caption

A section of the [Great Wall of China](https://www.worldhistory.org/Great_Wall_of_China/) just north of Beijing. The [wall](https://www.worldhistory.org/wall/) was begun in the 7th century BCE and significantly extended by the Ch'in emperor [Qin Shi Huangdi](https://www.worldhistory.org/Shi_Huangdi/) from 220 to 210 BCE.
