Dating to the late 13th century CE, this brass pyxis depicts [Jesus](https://www.worldhistory.org/Jesus_Christ/)' return to [Jerusalem](https://www.worldhistory.org/jerusalem/), juxtaposed with standing figures (possibly saints). It is engraved, and decorated with [silver](https://www.worldhistory.org/Silver/). Measures 10.5 cm height and 10.3 cm in diameter. Weighs 394 grams. (Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York)
