## Image Caption

This marble funerary stela depicts a banquet scene. The deceased is shown at the center of the stele. He reclining on a couch. His right arm is raised, expecting a wine cup, which is being filled by a young boy standing on the left side. In front of the boy, there is a large dinos containing wine. Behind the deceased, a woman sits on an elaborate chair. Her right arm, holding an object, appears to fill in an alabaster held by her left hand. A dog, below the couch, eats food on the floor (which has fallen from the deceased's couch). Above, a mirror, a pelta, and a Corinthian helmet can be seen. Classical Period, Circa 480-450 BCE.
