Puabi was a Semitic [Akkadian](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/akkadian/) woman from [Ur](https://www.worldhistory.org/ur/), c. 2600 BCE, possibly a queen or priestess. [Early Dynastic](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Early_Dynastic/) Period, circa 2600 BCE.
