Two figures carved from the rock face at the Longmen Caves, Fengxian [temple](https://www.worldhistory.org/temple/) near [Luoyang](https://www.worldhistory.org/Luoyang/), [China](https://www.worldhistory.org/china/). Dating to 675 CE the 17.4 metre high figures represent a [Buddhist](https://www.worldhistory.org/buddhism/) Heavenly King and demon guardian figure.
