This clay tablet was illegally excavated. The precise provenance of the excavation is unknown, but probably from Southern [Mesopotamia](https://www.worldhistory.org/Mesopotamia/), modern-day Iraq. It is currently housed in the Sulaymaniyah Museum, Iraqi Kurdistan.
