The attack starts with slingers hurling stones towards the enemy at the [city](https://www.worldhistory.org/city/) [wall](https://www.worldhistory.org/wall/)'s towers). Assyrian slingers were also depicted on the "Siege of Lachish Reliefs". The name of the city was inscribed completely, but only the last part of the city's name, -alammu, survives. The city probably lies in modern-day [Turkey](https://www.worldhistory.org/Asia_Minor/) or Iran.
