## Image Caption

The [cuneiform](https://www.worldhistory.org/cuneiform/) text on the center of this unopened envelop narrates a loan of [silver](https://www.worldhistory.org/Silver/) to a husband and wife. The envelop is marked by rings and cylinder seals used by the diverse community at the [city](https://www.worldhistory.org/city/) of Kultepe. There are 3 scenes; Babylonian, Assyrian, and Anatolian. The Babylonian scene shows a goddess and a worshiper approaching a seated king. The Assyrian scene depicts lions attacking bulls. The Anatolian scene reveals animals surrounding a man and a [god](https://www.worldhistory.org/God/). Old Assyrian Period, 1920-1740 BCE.
