[Egyptian](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Egyptian/) wine jars, 18th-19th Dynasties, about 1550-1186 BCE. Provenance unknown. The British Museum, (photo taken at The Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, Australia) Originally part of a set of at least four jars, these two vessels belonged to the funerary equipment of Lady Nedjmet. The inscription on the jars claim that they were filled with [Nile](https://www.worldhistory.org/nile/) Delta wine, a luxury beverage that was favoured during feasts and celebrations.
