The wooden Uji Bridge at the [Ise Grand Shrine](https://www.worldhistory.org/Ise_Grand_Shrine/), sacred to the [Shinto](https://www.worldhistory.org/Shinto/) goddess [Amaterasu](https://www.worldhistory.org/Amaterasu/).
