## Image Caption

One side (reverse) of this elaborate [gold](https://www.worldhistory.org/gold/) pendant has designs based on coins of the Kushan rulers Kanishka I (100-126 CE) or Huvishka (126-163 CE); it shows an image of the goddess of wealth. On the other side (obverse, this image), the image is based on a [coin](https://www.worldhistory.org/coinage/) of the [Roman Emperor](https://www.worldhistory.org/Roman_Emperor/) [Constantine I](https://www.worldhistory.org/Constantine_I/). Probably made in [India](https://www.worldhistory.org/india/) or Pakistan in 300s CE. (The British Museum, London).
