This [coin](https://www.worldhistory.org/coinage/) offers the first evidence for the existence of a local king called "Anarevito". He is not known either from other coin finds or [Roman](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Roman/) historical accounts. Coin inscriptions often provide the only reference to the kings and rulers of pre-[Roman Britain](https://www.worldhistory.org/Roman_Britain/). [Gold](https://www.worldhistory.org/gold/) coin of Anarevito from Kent, [England](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/england/), circa 10 BCE to 20 CE.
