A [gold](https://www.worldhistory.org/gold/) crown of the [Silla](https://www.worldhistory.org/Silla/) kingdom of [Korea](https://www.worldhistory.org/Korea/) (1st century BCE to 7th century CE). National Treasure No. 191 from the north mound of the Great [Tomb](https://www.worldhistory.org/tomb/) at Hwangnam, Geumseong ([Gyeongju](https://www.worldhistory.org/Gyeongju/)). 5th century CE. The crown is made of sheet-gold and decorated with granulation and crescent-shaped jade pendants. The tree-like upright parts illustrate links with shamanism. Height: 27.3 cm.
