## Image Caption

This tablet records the exact coins required for transaction in [Babylon](https://www.worldhistory.org/babylon/). Because coins could circulate for many years, freshly minted coins were less worn and had a better [silver](https://www.worldhistory.org/Silver/) weight. The tablet specifies the "staters of Seleucus with the elephant", suggesting that these are the type of coins needed for the payment.
