This is one of a series of panels that showed [Tiglath-Pileser III](https://www.worldhistory.org/Tiglath_Pileser_III/)'s military campaigns in modern-day southern Iraq. On the left is a captured town, with a siege engine beside the gate. In the center, Assyrian clerks with tablets and scrolls record details of the campaign. The civilian prisoners with their possessions are moving to the right, towards the Assyrian king who was shown on another panel.
