## Image Caption

There are numerous depictions of Hari-Hara (a combined form of [Shiva](https://www.worldhistory.org/shiva/) and [Vishnu](https://www.worldhistory.org/Vishnu/)) but it is relatively rare to see a combined form of [Surya](https://www.worldhistory.org/Surya/) and Shiva. The right half of this [sculpture](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Sculpture/) is Surya, the Sun [God](https://www.worldhistory.org/God/). He is holding lotuses: a fully bloomed one and a bud. The left half is Shiva. He is holding a snake and a water pot.
