In [Greek mythology](https://www.worldhistory.org/Greek_Mythology/), Daedalus made the queen a wooden bull so that she might wait inside it to attract the attention of a bull she was in love with. The offspring of this union was the [Minotaur](https://www.worldhistory.org/Minotaur/). Daedalus' son Icarus is shown at a workbench.
