The [Roman forum](https://www.worldhistory.org/Roman_Forum/) of [Thessalonica](https://www.worldhistory.org/Thessalonica/). First built in the 2nd century CE the arches belong to the semi-underground cryptoporticus which was probably used as store rooms for merchants.
