## Image Caption

The Fraktin [Hittite](https://www.worldhistory.org/hittite/) rock relief dating back to the mid-13th century BCE. It is located in the district of Kayseri in [Turkey](https://www.worldhistory.org/Asia_Minor/). The left section shows the Hittite king Hattusili III making an offering to the weather [god](https://www.worldhistory.org/God/). In front of each of their heads are hieroglyphic symbols, naming the depicted individuals. In the middle scene is king Hattusili III's wife, Tawannanna Puduhepa, making a libation to the Sun goddess Hebat. The third part of the relief consists of massive Luwian hieroglyphs.
