The single remaining standing [column](https://www.worldhistory.org/column/) from the [Temple](https://www.worldhistory.org/temple/) of [Hera](https://www.worldhistory.org/Hera/) in the Heraion of [Samos](https://www.worldhistory.org/samos/). 6th century BCE. The temple once had 155 columns and was one of the largest in [Greece](https://www.worldhistory.org/greece/).
