The decoration is traditional Egyptian style, the surface is painted to represent a bead-net incorporating a collar, with a winged sun-disc and cartonnage or textile plaques decorated with figures of gods. The feet are represented wearing sandals. Unusually, a naturalistic beard and moustache are painted on the face. The eyes are inlaid with glass. From Akhmim, Egypt.
