These 2 granite casts were found in Chephren Valley at Giza, Egypt. We can see the section of the cast of a pivot hole made by tubular drill. The other case is still inside the hole. 4th Dynasty, 2613-2494 BCE. The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, London (With thanks to The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, UCL).
