[Banpo Village](https://www.worldhistory.org/Banpo_Village/) is a [Neolithic](https://www.worldhistory.org/Neolithic/) site in the Yellow River Valley, east of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, in the People's Republic of [China](https://www.worldhistory.org/china/). There have been 250 discovered and excavated with male and female buried in separate graveyards. The site was occupied from c. 4500-3750 BCE.
