## Image Caption

The ruins of the Mausoleum of [Halicarnassus](https://www.worldhistory.org/halicarnassus/) in Caria (now Bodrum in [Turkey](https://www.worldhistory.org/Asia_Minor/)), constructed for King Maussollos during the mid-4th century BCE. Its construction was so beautiful and unique that it became one of [the Seven Wonders](https://www.worldhistory.org/The_Seven_Wonders/) of the Ancient World.
