The treasure of El Carambolo is a product of the Tartessan [civilization](https://www.worldhistory.org/civilization/). It was discovered in 1958 at the hill of El Carambolo which is about 1 km east of Seville in Spain. There are 21 pieces which total three kilograms and was, perhaps, created during the sixth century BCE. It consists of a necklace with pendants, two bracelets, two pectorals in ox-hide form and 16 plaques which may have formed part of a necklace or diadem. Recent research suggests that the treasure may have been created by Phoenician craftsmen.
