## Image Caption

The stone [burial](https://www.worldhistory.org/burial/) mound known as the Table-des-Marchands (Table of Merchants) at the [Neolithic](https://www.worldhistory.org/Neolithic/) site of [Locmariaquer](https://www.worldhistory.org/Locmariaquer/) in north-west France. The [tomb](https://www.worldhistory.org/tomb/) was constructed in the 5th millennium BCE and is so called because of the large flat stone which creates the ceiling of the inner tomb chamber.
