The Arch of the Sergii (a famous [patrician](https://www.worldhistory.org/Patrician/) family in ancient [Rome](https://www.worldhistory.org/Rome/)) at Pula (Croatia). The arch was built at the end of the 1st century BCE (around 29 to 27 BCE) by Salvia Postuma Sergii with her own money, in honour of the three members of her family who took part in the [battle of Actium](https://www.worldhistory.org/Battle_of_Actium/).
