## Image Caption

Model of a [Megalithic](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/megalithic/) building carved out of Globigerina Limestone. It shows a trilithon entrance and walls formed of slabs. Above these are one or two courses of horizontally laid slabs projecting inwards. The roof is apparently composed of seven horizontal slabs. 3800-3000 BCE Provenance: Discovered in 1923 during excavations of the Ta Hagrat [Temple](https://www.worldhistory.org/temple/) Complex, Mgarr Village, Gozo. Currently housed at the National Museum of [Archaeology](https://www.worldhistory.org/Archaeology/) in Valetta, Malta.
