[Diocletian](https://www.worldhistory.org/Diocletian/)'s [Palace](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/palace/) was decorated with numerous granite sphinxes originating from the site of [Egyptian](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Egyptian/) [Pharaoh](https://www.worldhistory.org/pharaoh/) [Thutmose III](https://www.worldhistory.org/Thutmose_III/). Only three have survived the centuries. This one is still located on the Peristyle of Diocletian's Palace.
