Depicted here is New Zealand-born biophysicist Maurice Wilkins (1916-2004), who worked at King's College in London with English chemist [Rosalind Franklin](https://www.worldhistory.org/article/2845/rosalind-franklin/) (1920-1958). His research contributed to the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA.
