Cleburne, known as "Stonewall of the West," was wounded at the Battles of Richmond and at the [Battle](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/battle/) of Perryville in 1862. He was killed at the [Battle of Franklin](https://www.worldhistory.org/article/2813/battle-of-franklin/) on 30 November 1864.
