The hall houses large pillars, balustrades, and bannisters crafted from a range of Irish marbles and Cornish serpentine. A domed roof is constructed from enamelled bricks in blue, red, and yellow hues, with patterns influenced by [Byzantine](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Byzantine/) and Islamic design. Irish plant-inspired carvings are found on the capitals of the columns.
