## Image Caption

Located on the second floor of the [Château d'Amboise](https://www.worldhistory.org/Chateau_d'Amboise/), Amboise, Loire Valley, France, the Orléans Room, which was once used by Louis-Philippe, Duke of Orléans (reign 1830-1848), is decorated in the '[Empire](https://www.worldhistory.org/empire/)' style that was all the rage at the time. The 'Récamier' bed stands proudly in the centre of the room.
