The female figure is interpreted by scholars as the Persian fertility goddess [Anahita](https://www.worldhistory.org/Anahita/). The grapevines can be connected to the [Greek](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/greek/) [god](https://www.worldhistory.org/God/) [Dionysos](https://www.worldhistory.org/Dionysos/).
