## Image Caption

The false passport which [Adolf Eichmann](https://www.worldhistory.org/Adolf_Eichmann/) (1906-62) used to escape from [Europe](https://www.worldhistory.org/europe/) to Argentina in 1950. Eichmann had been a senior member of the SS and a key figure in the transportation of Jewish people to Nazi [death](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Death/) camps during the Holocaust.
