## Image Caption

Fragment of a blue glass cup with a scene depicting a pair of gladiators fighting. The gladiators are identified by name in the Latin inscription above them: \[P\]etraites (a murmillo) and Prudes (a Thracian), with part of the name of Proculus also visible. Dated to c. 50-80 CE. These cups may have been made as souvenirs for [Roman](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Roman/) arena fans.
