A [Hawker Hurricane](https://www.worldhistory.org/Hawker_Hurricane/) Mk.IIb photographed at Dunsfold Wings and Wheels air show. The Hurricane was the most numerous RAF fighter plane in the [Battle of Britain](https://www.worldhistory.org/Battle_of_Britain/) in the summer of 1940.
