Armaziskhevi is a historical site in Georgia associated with the ancient town of Armazi. It was a significant settlement in the early history of the country. Armazi dates back to the 4th century BCE and was an important centre during the ancient Kingdom of [Iberia](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/iberia/). The area contains archaeological remains, including the ruins of a citadel, a [palace](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/palace/), and a temple.
