[Grave](https://www.worldhistory.org/burial/) goods from the richest [burial](https://www.worldhistory.org/burial/) at Vani (located in the Imereti region of Georgia), dated to about 450 BCE.

Grave 11, contained four bodies inside a wooden structure: a woman, distinguished by the richness of her personal ornaments, and three servants or slaves. The many grave goods placed around the woman's head and near her body include a number of imports from [Athens](https://www.worldhistory.org/Athens/), revealing the extent of Vani's contact beyond the Black Sea and reflecting a taste for luxury wares imported from the West.
