Wazir Khan Mosque, Lahore, Pakistan, built between 1634 and 1641 under the reign of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and named after the renowned physician and later Viceroy of Punjab Hakim Ilmud Din Ansari, who was given the title "Wazir Khan" by the Emperor.

Situated within Lahore's walled [city](https://www.worldhistory.org/city/), its [faience](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Faience/) tiles and fine [fresco](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Fresco/) art make the Wazir Khan mosque one of Lahore's most notable architectural complexes. It is currently on the UNESCO World Heritage's tentative List.
