## Image Caption

A glacier of cream-coloured earthenware produced by the [Etruria](https://www.worldhistory.org/Etruscan_Civilization/) factory of [Josiah Wedgwood](https://www.worldhistory.org/Josiah_Wedgwood/) (1730-95). This style was popular with Queen Charlotte, wife of King [George III of Great Britain](https://www.worldhistory.org/George_III_of_Great_Britain/) (r. 1760-1820) and so became known as Queen’s ware. (Wedgwood Museum, Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent, [England](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/england/))
