## Image Caption

The museum of Timgad in Algeria is located at the entrance of the site. It contains a particularly impressive collection of more than 80 mosaics and other important artefacts found at the site. Among the masterpieces are the [mosaic](https://www.worldhistory.org/Mosaic/) of [Neptune](https://www.worldhistory.org/Neptune/) on his [chariot](https://www.worldhistory.org/chariot/), [Artemis](https://www.worldhistory.org/artemis/) and Actaeon, and [Venus](https://www.worldhistory.org/venus/) on the back of a marine [centaur](https://www.worldhistory.org/centaur/).
