The [mosaic](https://www.worldhistory.org/Mosaic/) of the [Triumph](https://www.worldhistory.org/Roman_Triumph/) of [Dionysus](https://www.worldhistory.org/Dionysos/) was found in a private house of [Caesarea](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Caesarea/) in [Mauretania](https://www.worldhistory.org/Mauretania/). The central panel depicts Dionysus holding a thyrsus and riding a [chariot](https://www.worldhistory.org/chariot/) drawn by two tigers. It is dated to the middle to late 3rd century CE.
