The Museum of Djémila in Algeria is located within the ruins of the spectacular [Roman](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Roman/) town of Djémila (or Cuicul as it was then known) and contains many of the beautiful [mosaic](https://www.worldhistory.org/Mosaic/) pavements found on the site. They cover around 1700 square metres (18298 sq ft) almost the whole of the [wall](https://www.worldhistory.org/wall/) space of the museum. Highlights include a mosaic showing a hunting scene: the 10-metre-long (32 ft) so-called Mosaic of the Ass, and the Toilet of [Venus](https://www.worldhistory.org/venus/).
