From left to right, the figures depicted are: Philippe-Antoine [Merlin](https://www.worldhistory.org/Merlin/) de Douai, Louis Marie de La Révellière-Lépeaux, [Paul](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Paul/) Barras, François de Neufchâteau, and Jean-François Rewbell. These specific Directors were the ones in office in 1797-98, after the Coup of 18 Fructidor. This etching print is by an unknown author, in the Musée Carnavalet.
