Boissy d'Anglas saluting the head of deputy Féraud, 1st Prairal Year III (20 May 1795), during the [Prairial Uprising](https://www.worldhistory.org/Prairial_Uprising/). Although d'Anglas is depicted in this painting, the president of the Convention during the uprising was actually Théodore Vernier; therefore, it was Vernier, not d'Anglas, who had the decapitated head of Féraud waved in his face.
