Corbridge (Coria) was a fort and town in the [Roman](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Roman/) province of [Britannia](https://www.worldhistory.org/Roman_Britain/) immediately south of [Hadrian's Wall](https://www.worldhistory.org/Hadrians_Wall/), on the east-west road stretching from Corbridge to Carlisle (*Luguvalium*) and now known as the Stanegate. Corbridge was the northernmost town of the [Roman Empire](https://www.worldhistory.org/Roman_Empire/).
