## Image Caption

An 1886 (reworked in 1888) oil on canvas landscape, *View from My Window, Éragny-sur-Epte*, by [Camille Pissarro](https://www.worldhistory.org/Camille_Pissarro/) (1830-1903), the Danish-French impressionist painter. The artist moved to Éragny in 1884 and lived there for the rest of his life. This is the view from his bedroom window and shows his experimentation with the pointillist style.
